Trois ans auparavant, le Duc de Lovingdon a perdu sa femme, qu'il aimait plus que tous. Depuis il enchaîne les conquêtes. Quelle stupeur, lorsque Grace, son ami d'enfance qu'il considère comme sa sœur vient lui demander de l'aide. Acceptera-t-il de l'aider ? Grace parviendra-t-elle à le convaincre ? Ce roman m'a littéralement transporté, ému, j'ai aussi eu peur pour notre héroïne, car je demandé sur quel type d'hommes, elle allait tomber, un homme sincère ou malhonnête ?. J'ai eu envie de secouer Lovingdon, en lui disant mais bon dieu réveille toi avant qu'il ne soit trop tard. J'ai aussi adoré le caractère de Grace qui est une héroïne qui n'a pas sa langue dans sa poche et n'hésite pas à dire ce qu'elle pense, quant à Lovingdon, c'est un héros qui après le drame qu'il a vécu, c'est replié sur lui-même, mais qui au contact de Grace reprend peu à peu pied avec la réalité et va comprendre beaucoup de choses sûres lui-même et sur celle qu'il connaît depuis l'enfance. Une romance historique super envoûtante, surprenante et captivante que je n'ai pas vue les heures défilées et qui m'a énormément plus et pour laquelle j'ai craqué. Je vous la recommande. [ + ]
